I am honoured to invite you to the Israel Business Club Sydney’s special event featuring keynote speaker Adv. Daniel Sekel, Head of the Life Sciences Department, Agmon & Co. Rosenberg Hacohen & Co. Mr. Sekel will be sharing his views on Biotechnology Start-Ups: Professors, Proteins, and Profits – A Snapshot From the Bleeding Edge.

Mr. Sekel specializes in companies in the life sciences arena, including the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical devices sectors. He has extensive experience advising such companies at every stage of their development, from the initial research stage and seed funding, through commercial development and distribution, to acquisition or initial public offering and beyond. Daniel has advised across a range of enterprises including start-ups and established public companies, in addition to some of Israel’s largest enterprises, universities, hospitals and research institutions. He also acts for a range of investors including angel investors, funds and technology incubators.

Mr Sekel holds an LL.B from UNSW, and between 2005 and 2010, Mr Sekel headed the legal department of “Ramot” – the technology transfer company of Tel Aviv University.
