Dear friend,
I am delighted to invite you to join the Israel Business Club Sydney IP commercialization and Technology Transfer Trade Mission to Israel that will take place between 4-8 March 2018.
Mobileye (acquired by Intel for $15 billion), NDS (acquired by Cisco for $5 Billion) and many other Israeli companies that now operate globally started life in the research labs of a university or hospital in Israel. In fact, after the University of Wisconsin, Israeli research institutes were the first in the world to found commercial companies in order to take knowledge gathered in their labs and turn it into real, profitable, world-changing business.
The mission will meet with key  players in the Israeli technological ecosystem which includes Hadasit – the company who commercialized the IP of the Hadasa Hospital, Yeda – the Weitzman Institute’s company, the Technion and many more. We will learn about the challenges Israeli researchers faced when trying to turn their knowledge into profit, and how the Israeli model is a win-win model that enables and encourages innovation.

Gain Insights From the ‘Start Up Nation’ and Network with Fellow Business Leaders

This is a once in a life time opportunity to gain firsthand experience and insight into how you can change the world by solving real problems, and turning the results into a successful business.

As a delegate, you’ll have unrivalled access to Israeli thought leaders and experts, giving you valuable insights, connections, and business opportunities. You’ll return with a strong understanding of Israel’s innovation ecosystem and energised about what you can bring back to Australia.

Delegates will need to make their own way to and from Israel. We can offer advice and support about the most suitable route. The mission will spend two nights in Jerusalem and three nights in Tel Aviv. The IBCS will secure group rates at chosen hotels and will reserve all accommodation, and delegates will then pay on check-out.
